Tried burning with Plextor 708-A at 4x. The disc shows the burn marks, but plays 'sometimes' on the computer, but nowhere else.
In Windows, right clicking on the DVR drive locks everything up and I can't even erase the damned thing. I tried two discs out of the package of 10.

Roxio DVD Creator. I just tried to burn the VIDEO_TS AND AUDIO_TS folders, as per usual. It looked like the burning was taking place, but nothing would play.
I also tried to burn just a small data file, but I was unable to access it once completed.
I've used Verbatim 2X and 2.4X with no problem.
Now, I'm stuck with a 10 pack!

So far I've burned 7 discs one time. 2 discs were burned a second time. 4 discs gave me a bunch of "Failed to read Sector XXX - L-EC Uncorrectable Error" when I tried to burn them a second time. When I retried to burn, the error just occured at another sector. These discs are pieces of shit. Verbatim's are supposed to be top of the line. Never gonna buy Verbatim again.

It can't even write/delete on the disc at all. Instant reject upon write/delete disc detection. On Nero Burning ROM 6.6.0.8, it pops out an error window, just stating "Illegal Disc". Works great with 2.4x on Nec 1300a. Erased many times and I have no problem with it at all. Always worked even with older/hacked firmware. Plenty of top surface to write on with a pen.

Media worked great. Burned at 4x and 2.4x for testing on stand alone players. Sony PS2 (SCPH-30001), Panasonic RV20, and DVP-S500D were the only players I had that refused to play the media at either speed. Each burn was bitset to DVD-ROM type.
