Hi,

My "Maxell cd-rw74" disks are not recognized by my OS, nor by Nero 6.6.0.18, which I use with my ASUS DRW-1604P.

I cannot erase/format these disks!

Once (in my old computer), they were written with data by means of INCD (ver. 3 I assume). Now they are totallly unreadable.

I installed a recent version of INCD, but they keep unreadable.

I intended to use them again as a normal cd-rw, but no luck, not recognised, no erase, no formatting.

GeminiAlpha.

I use this drive to burn at 16x with Memorex DVD+R (package claims they are rated for 8x). I am pleasantly surprised. Also a very quiet drive.

Bought it last week about 75 USD (in Taiwan). Used to burn 4 movies with Iomega 8X DVD+R and Imation 8X DVD+R. No problem so far. Comes w/audio and IDE cables, Ulead Disc Creator Suite v3 and Nero v6 bundles.

So far so good...
