I burnt a PS2 game at 1X using DVD decrypter with this media, and while I was able to select a 1X burn, the media actually burned at 3X. That might've been a limitation from my drive though.
The media works in my fat PS2 (SCPH 30001), however the load times are LONG and I could hear the lens attempting to constantly refocus and track.
I reburned the same game with different media and the long load times were gone.
I also burned a few movie files at 8X with this media and they load fine on my Philips 5982 DVD player and also on my PS3 as well.

I DID NOT burn it with the T40N drive like listed above.
My burner, the HL-DT-ST DVDRAM GSA-T50L was not listed on the list, so I listed this as the closest match.
I used NERO and DVD Decrypter to write discs.

stay away from this media. it's crappy fake VERBATIM media made in CHINA. if u want real products, never buy anything made in CHINA that appears to be brand name. CHINA is famous for bootleg everything. D TRIZZY is a genuis!!!. fortunately i have a benq1650 and i am able to salvage this crap!! your formula worked like a charm. thanks baby!!

I did a review for this media before, but the old review looks better then what I really think of it now. Its not real verbatim media, atleast in quality cause it doesnt burn at slower rated speeds of 4x or 8x properly. I dont burn at faster rated speeds. So I tried using the older write statiges for the 8x MCC 03RG20, using http://www.videohelp.com/tools?tool=MediaCodeSpeedEdit its a tool that lets you switch around the media codes. Im having issues with other dynx DVD+R media now too. So im gonna edit it again to the older 8x write strat and see how it goes. So if you want this media to work with the benq DW1650 right then you have to burn at 8x, with a edited firmware. If your drive manages to burn at 8x without issues then thats the golden speed for this media In my oppinion. Hope that helps anyone thats Pie/PiF whores like me.
and burning this getto media at 8x only does it give me 93%+ ratings in dvdinfopro.
At the standard firmware i was getting alot of 70-80% quality scans with nerocdspeed and dvdinfopro. with the hack i did it was consistant in the 90%. This media seems to prefer older styles of burning. If you dont mind temp. hacking your drive for cheap new fake verbatim media then this is a good program to try out. This media was made in China so what can you expect. My other verbatims i got from BestBuy was way better at 96% scan rate, both 8x and 16x versions. i always burn at 4x. And they both came from Taiwan. Just not as cheap in price. $15 compared to the $5 deal on black friday that i got lucky to find.

Has worked absolutely fine for backing up DVD's and data. I occassionally get a couple errors when Nero verifies the data on the disc after burning, but I have not seen any problems when playing back DVD's or reading back the data.
My opinion: Very cheap and effective media for non-essential stuff!

This media is obviously fake MCC03RG20. It burns at 16x in my Samsung 182M, with very poor results. The results in the Samsung drive are very poor even at 8x. However, in my LG-H10N and my Pioneer 111 the results are quite acceptable at 8x (but not any faster). On Black Friday at Best Buy, it was almost free. I would never purchase this media at any reasonable price, only if it was extremely cheap.

Only problem with the DVDs is that they won't play on my old school Sony Playstation 2, circa 2001.
But I also picked up a Philips DVD player for $30 - and they play on that no problem.
Verbatim media, however, does play on the old school PS2 - so probably not the best quality DVDs.
But at a nickle a burn, I'll take some coasters and cross my fingers on the long term :)

you can get a good burn then a bad one right after.
everythign will verify ok but with scans the quality is bad.
drive seems to like divisions of 8x when burning. but not conclusive with that theory yet.
16x locks up at 8x burn speeds
12x locks up at 4x burn speeds with my benq 1650 drive
Results have ranged from low 72-94 in quality rating.
theres very very high PI error in this media when it burns bad.
PIF is low though oddly.
