eac3to is able to convert E-AC3, TrueHD, PCM and DTS-HD audio tracks to AC3, DTS or FLAC. Converts E-AC3, TrueHD, PCM, DTS-HD and FLAC tracks to AC3/DTS/FLAC. Removes Dialog Normalization from AC3, E-AC3, DTS and TrueHD tracks. Extracts AC3 frames from Blu-Ray AC3/TrueHD tracks. Extracts DTS core from DTS-HD tracks. Can remux the video track of a EVO/VOB source to Matroska(mkv). Command line tool but GUI(UsEac3to) also available. Requires external audio decoders.

Pls ignore my previous post, reason: eac3to is a 32-bit x86 program, it needs the x86/32bit version of msvcr100.dll. I had installed the 64bit version, that's why it could find what it needs. Installing the x86/32bit version fixes the issue.

From 3.53-3.57, it seems to require msvcr10.dll. But under win11 pro, installing msvcr10.dll thru microsoft website still result in the same error message: msvcr100.dll not found. Anyone care to respond?

Guys, 3.54 added the -sl option, which conflicts with -slowdown. Curly will make a fixed 3.55 this afternoon.

I will keep using version 3.34 «forever». It's incredible that we already are in 2025, almost in 2026, but eac3to still depends on outdated and unnecessary software 0_o

Peter is right. Slowing down with Eac3to 3.54 doesn't work. Speeding up works. Maybe this can be fixed.
