Access the DVD setup menu by turning on the unit without a DVD in the drive. Press simultaneously the "arrow down" button on the right side of the DVD recorder and the "clear" button on the remote control simultaneously for about six seconds to access the options menu. Use sideways arrow keys on remote control to navigate to OP6. Set value of option to "8F" (for region free) and press "enter" on remote control to save changes. When message saying "save ok" appears press "menu/list" on remote control to exit options menu. The unit will reboot and is now able to play any DVD. | |||

I think that I mistakenly reset some of the other parameters when I made my player region free. Can you tell me what the original parameters were please? I especially need the last one on the list. | |||
