asked for $6 in 2019, after about a year it stopped working, sent him an email and below was his reply

Recently on July 29, we have released the new version of MassTube 2021 v14.0.0.400 , so the keys from 2020 and previous will not work in latest version of 2021 anymore. You need to make a new donation again (just $9 dollars), if you want, in order to get new key to activate to MassTube 2021 Plus. So, your current key is not compatible with version of 2021. Sorry for that, but this decision was because we need to raise resources (money) to continue live and keep our project, otherwise we will close during this year. I hope you can understand and apreciate you using our application.

My notes on masstube are not exaggerations, it is because the system is really simple and effective, and the amount paid for the license plus is a unique attraction. I did a little test, downloading the file in FLAC 24Khz and the quality surprised me a lot! A suggestion to the developer, is that it is possible to download links in batch, it would be cool to have this function employed, moreover, I just have to thank the developers for the usefulness and accessibility of the program.

Used to work splendidly but now it either doesn't work at all or takes forever to load the video. This was an easy 10/10 before, but now it seems to take a lot longer to retrieve videos compared to before, let alone downloading them.
