Linux: GUIDE: You can do great iPod video in Linux!!!

This guide is intended for Linux noobs (like me) who are from a Windows background and are more comfortable with GUI's than the CLI Terminal. This guide will show you how to create Hi-Resolution iPod compliant MPEG-4 Videos that are of sufficient quality for TV-Out iPod use or playback on a HTPC. The created files will utilize x264 or XviD Video and aac Audio from the multi-platform workhorse encoder "ffmpeg". The cross-platform GUI batch encoding application "WinFF" has been developed by one of our own members here at VideoHelp.com "Bigg Matt", you can check out his site at www.biggmatt.com. The scope of this guide will be limited to simple conversion from .MPG,.VOB or .AVI to .mp4. IVTC, Pulldown and Anamorphic encodes will not be covered at this time.
