Tried to burn at 16x, burnt at 4x. tried at 12x, burnt at 4x, tried 8x, burnt 4x. maybe i got a bad case, is all, but i couldn't burn anything over 4x. The burner kept speeding up, and then slowing down at the lead-in. big disappointment from TDK. however, even at 4x, the media still rocks the DVD-VIDEO department.

This media comes in a 30-pack, comprised of 3 x snap-close plastic cases containing 10 disks each, in colours green, blue & purple, adhesive box labels included. Burns well on Pioneer DVR-106 & 108. Plays well on LG-DF8900P (Divx/DVD player), Nintaus 9800 & Sansui DVX 2600 (aka CM-1000). Occasional minor playback errors on outer tracks, using the LG player if burnt at 16x. Best results at 8x. Plays reliably on PS2. At $20 for 30 disks its a good fall-back medium for those times when you can't get a hold of the better/cheaper stuff.
