Doubt you'll be able to find these under the prodisc name. I bought these a year ago. When they ran out I tried getting more, but the new ones came with a different code. The MCC coded media is Verbatim and I have to say these are the best scans I have ever gotten on media.

I mainly burn video with this, and often get pauses during playback in two different players - does not happen with Sony MIJ media or Fuji MIJ media, which is what I've used besides.

I have used about 5,000 of the white and silver printables and have never had problems with any of my burns unless there was a problem with my master. I've used Pioneer A06 thru A09 drives and 12 standalone Pioneer burners. Always Burns 8x with no problems. In my experience with this media I have had less problems with it then most of the more expensive branded media.

These disks work fine for data, but are crap for movies.

Ripped with DVD Shrink, burned with Nero 6.
Lite-On LDW-451S burned at 4x or 2x, burn speed has no apparent effect on results.

Half the time Nero won't complete the burn, and the rest of the time PowerDVD freezes in 2 or 3 spots in the movie. Have burned ~30 disks and gotten only ~5 that work flawlessly.

Have updated firmware, reduced .iso files to 4200MB, etc, all to no avail. Other disks burn fine. These do print beautifully on Epson R300, but this is moot if they're unusable.

THIS MEDIA IS CRAP. PLAYS FINE TELL ABOUT THE END OF THE MOVIE AND IT WILL FREEZE OR NOT WORK AT ALL.EVEN TRIED TO BURN AT 1X, BUT NO GO. UPDATED MY FIRMWARE STILL NOTHING. I WOULDN'T RECOMMEND THIS MEDIA FOR ANYBODY (CHEAP)

Works so perfect along with NEC ND-3500A. I bought the NEC because the LITEON 451S just couldn't burn this Media correctly after 8 coasters. Using firmware 2.18 on this NEC, it automatically detects this as 12X write speed and burns just under 7 minutes. Can't be more happier. Highly recommend this media with NEC ND-3500A.

These media ONLY burn at 1x using my Toshiba SD-R5112 with firmware 1033 unless the newer firmware solves the problem. If you guys set the speed higher than 1x and have problems, it's your fault. Otherwise, the media are very good.

I've tried to update the new firmwares (1M32 & 1M33) with no success.

Crashed at 4x, dropped to 2x, resulted in poor playback at end of DVD, dropped burn to 1x using Toshiba SDR5112 drive (Plextor 712 only slows to 2x)and playback is fine. Requested refund and received RMA for bad media. Probably blew 20 discs trying to isolate source of problem, thought it was software, but Nero and Plextools pretty much insisted it was a media error.

Nero 6.0, no problems until this cake box, had burned over 100 Prodisc 4x, some at 6x, without a crash. Bought Prodisc 8x and they burn at 8x with excellent playback. I hate giving a poor score on burn reliability, due to my previous experience with prodisc media.
