Be aware thet if you upgrade the firmware on this model it will wipe reapply region coding. The hack is the same as the 950a model. Turn on the recorder and wait for it to initialise. Put recorder source into AV Mode NOT TV mode. Open the tray Using the remote control Press 7,7 then 1 for Region 1 etc or 0 for Region Free . The Region should diplay briefly on the screen. Thats it! | |||
