Icaros |
Icaros allows selection of thumbnail offset - Icaros is a Windows Shell Extension, which is capable of providing Windows Explorer thumbnails for essentially any video media filetype supported by the LAV Source Splitter. Upon installation, and with 1st use of the application, if you simple click 'Activate Icaros', it will default to thumbnailing MKV's (10bit files too) and OGM files. It is capable of thumbnailing just about any file by adding its extension(s) to the optional filetypes box and re-activating Icaros. The only files not handled by Icaros is Realmedia files.

Great Tool!!! I tried a lot of other tools for displaying thumbnails for mkv and flv files. But I didn't found a working tool. E.g. I tried Haali Media Splitter but this tool created some black thumbnails and other were completly white. With Icaros I can even display thumbnails for .vob and .flv files. Thanks for programming this masterpiece.

Installed and seems to work fine/stable. Allows me to get thumbnails in Windows Explorer for FLV files when I couldn't get them before. Requires you to install the LAV filters. So if you have the Haali splitter installed, you will need to uninstall that first.
