It appears this software has been abandoned by the developer. Seeing as I paid $50 for a beta which resulted in only one update in a year, this has been a ripoff.

The developer has been completely silent for over 7 months now with no updates, bug fixes, etc. No response at all. Very bad way to treat paying customers. It is obvious the software has been abandoned.

As a result, I have to now rate this software accordingly as this was a ripoff.

For a truly frame-accurate editor with active and responsive developers, try SmartCutter - it's the only fram accurate editor for h264 files out there. I use it to edit .TS files captured from a Hauppauge HDPVR 1212.

Ditto to previous comments. If you have the Hauppauge HD PVR 1212, this is the only reliable cutter/joiner out there. It is super fast at cutting commercials and remuxing a new commercial-free file. I have used it to edit both M2TS and TS files. It would have earned a 10, but subtracted 1 point for not being able to cut frame by frame and 1 for video scrubber not having a high degree of accuracy/smoothness as you jog through the video file to find your cut points.

This is the only tool I've found which can accurately edit .ts files created by my Hauppauge HD-PVR. A few other tools are available which can edit .ts files, but this is the only one I've found which does it without glitches between cuts. The other tools allow you to cut on frames, but often those cut points result in pixellation of the final edit.

UI is reasonably easy to use, but I think could be improved. However, this is still a beta version so I expect improvement in the next release. Although pricey (especially for a beta) still overall a great value for the money because it edits .ts files better than any other tool around.
