FLY 2000 TV


Fly2000TV designed for PC TV tuners such as LifeView FlyVideo 2000/3000, built on Philips saa713x videodecoder chip. It enables you to capture stills and video streams from any WDM supporting TV tuner card. Some noteable features: - Full captured frame size - 768x576 for PAL, 720x480 for NTSC. - The 2GB file size limit for AVI files has been resolved. - It works on all Windows platforms, from 9x to XP.

First, I just love the user interface, it's intuitive, responsive and startup is almost instantly.
Other programs take ages to startup before you see any pictures, quite anoying (e.g. ChrisTv, WinDVR)
Lots of feature control is possible, extensive formats to choose from for recording.
Integrated FM radio !

But, on W2K or WXP this program crashes too often for my taste (I've got an Asus FM/TV SAA7134) and the program cannot be restarted without giving the same error popups (fills the whole screen) unless rebooting.
So I stopped testing this util.

If only it was more reliable, I greatly miss using it...
