Region Hack for this player is the same as LG RC797T. Go to and get all information. http://aiwaownersnetwork.tripod.com/pages/lg/5000_series_firmware.html Next: --Power on the player and load the CD-ROM --In a few moments a text box appears displaying current DVD region and a second line to change DVD region --Press "0" with the remote for "Region free" --Press "Enter" on the remote control --In a few seconds the player will eject the disc. Remove the CD-ROM from the tray and power off. Upon powering on the player plays all regions(tested) but Macrovision still remains. | |||
