That one ^, did not work for me. This one did, ok: 1-Turn on your DVD player. 2-Open the tray. 3-Press 9 five times, you will see a number (for me it was 6, you'll see it on the screen, where the DVD displays all messages, like a blue bar up top) then I pressed 9 a few more time until the number being displayed there turned to a 9, when it does then press enter, now it's region free. 4- Enjoy ;) | |||

The hack works but after I played a region 3 dvd, it froze and stopped working. Then I try to play other dvds, vcds, and cds, the player reads everything as a bad disk. I think the hack ruined the laser. | |||
