With years of DV video from my camcorder, I finally decided to convert it all to MPEG-4/AVC/H.264 video. The only way that I can figure to organize it all was to find a tool to time-stamp all the DV video before batch conversion to H.264. This was the only tool I found that can do this easily without fussing with subtitles. Actually, I didn't really want to actually stamp the frames of my videos, just rename each DV file captured from the camcorder with the date/time of the footage. And for this task, this tool worked admirably. For the hundreds of hours of DV video, $20 paid for itself in the first hour of use (how much is your time worth?).
