Had a look at version 1.55 and it tried to install AutocompletePro "Helps you search the web" adware...

Good program. Does what it's supposed to do. I assume it would be possible to manually add a newer version of x264. No sign of any ad-ware or anything btw, this program doesn't come with an installer it's just an archive to put files in a folder. I'd like more presets for setting bitrate to fit certain media, but MultiAVCHD can be used for that if needed.

Great tool, works 100% of what I need.
No other tools can be compared to this one.
Thanks Dean!

Hi, I just installed this program on my computer. It tries to install AcPro.exe (AutoComplete pro) with the /verysilent parameter. It is an addon for web browser(s). When I opened IE9, it asked me if I wanted to enable it. I searched for the program and found it in my "Temp" folder. Then I proceeded to scan it with avast anti virus 2012 and it came up clean, however when searching google for it there was mention of malware, so beware.

After the fact I reinstalled the program to get a screenshot of it which can seen here Needless to say I have alread used system restore to wipe it out and I will be getting a different program all together. That should also explain the ratings I gave.

For me it always hard-codes the subs even when they are not selected; secondly, it always seem to crop horizontally at each end irrespective of resize selected. With that aside, it is a truly excellent program and very fast for what i need. I tend to use this first to encode and then drop the files into multiavchd for authoring several titles at once. There are other ways but i'll stick with what i'm comfortable with. Well done to the author :)
