The only budget disk found that works with settop Panasonic DMR-HS2 (most selective burner encountered; burns only at 1x, but reads what was burnt at 4x in the PC)

This is one of the best disks (-R)around for NEC ND-1300 if you have firmware 1.07 or LOWER. Warning DO NOT USE firmware 1.08 or 1.09. The disks are unreadable on many dvd players.

The Freecom burner (NEC-1300A) will only burn these disks at 2x (not 1x).
All disk have good data. However DVDInfo tests shows a marginal behavior at the end of all the disks. On three positions white codes are shown, which means that the data was OK upon the second read. I do not know if this has any implications for the long time stability of the discs. Used 9 discs for Data backup so far, all with the same results.

I've tried the media at 1x and it burns fine. Since the release of the 2x4all firmware. I've burnt it at 2x, PI errors has increased in the beginning of media, but PI errors in the end of the media has decreased.

No coasters, but dont hold the information properly .. worked in both of my stationary DVDs and computer players/writers(pioneer-DVD535 and Technika-DVD2020,nec1300, liteon) right after burn.
When i checked the media again after 4days they didnt work properly in any of my stationary or computer-based players/ writers.
5 SW-discs out of 6 burned had problems, and _yes_ i treat my discs ok. (its not greasyfingers or scratches)
