these are pure crap. almost every disc i've used to back up my dvd's on, there is such bad skipping and pixelation at the end that you can't even watch it. spend the xtra bucks on better media and avaoid these at all costs.

This media is alright for data, but its no good for movies because it causes pixelation glitches every now and then throughout the movie and it really skips bad towards the end of the dvd. I guess I can't trust cheap media, just gonna stick to good old Ritek.

All other DVD-R media I've tried in the .55-.60/disc price range would burn OK at 4X but always fail the verify phase and exhibit subtle video glitches during playback on my JVC 523GD standalone.
But so far, all of my burns with Digital Matrix DVD-R at 4X have completed the verify phase successfully and played back beautifully.

With my 1.07 firmware, the NEC would fail during the speed test in Nero. I upgraded to firmware 1.0a and the Digital Matrix's burn perfectly fine at 4x.

These are DVD-R and they freeze during play if burned at 4x speed. At 2x speed is better, but not perfect.
CANNOT burn on MicroAdvanyage drive. Can burn on IOMAgic drive and Sony DRU500A.

alway failed when I used these Digital Matrix discs to backup my DVD movies and data. even freeze my Pioneer 106 burner and really damaged my Sony U10A. Stay away from these discs at all costs.

Amazing media at a cheap price $0.58 cents each. Silver/Purple. Burn't @ 4x on my DRU500AX 2.0G. Wasn't suppose to work @ 4x according to Merltine, but it did. Tested on 5 stand alone players and all of them play fine.
