Computer slows my burns to about 1.7X. These discs would not work on an LG LST3510A or a Toshiba 1700 DVD player (friends of mine). But otherwise have had excellent results with these disks. I may have run across 10 or so bad disks, but I am not sure about that because it could have been my software/computer that ruined those (and I think it was the computer because often, two or three disks would have the same flaw in the same spot, but if I re-booted, it would usually go completely away.

I've only burned a couple of these, but they've worked fine thus far. These are obviously not high quality discs, but they seem to get the job done. I probably wouldn't have bought them if I hadn't have wandered across a very good deal on them, but I can't say that I'm disappointed.

The biggest problem so far has been with the cheap spindle. Once I removed the wrapping, it fell apart and now requires two hands to pick up. It's, without a doubt, the cheapest spindle that I've ever seen.

I'll try to update this review after burning more discs.

Top Color: Solid white including the hub.
Bottom Color: Purple w/ silver hub.
Bought 2 100 packs in June. The first burned fine at 4X, but the second began giving me coasters halfway through. Wasted about 10 disk. Lowering to 2X fixed the problem, but is a hassle. Same problem with a Sony DRU-500a(the drive still works fine after 3 years) and a newer pos Maddog dd0201. Just bought another 2 100 packs on black friday. Turned out to be the exact same media code. I will report back when i find out how well they work.

Attempted to burn DVD movie from Two computers. The first computer HP Pavillion P4. Using a Verbatum DVD+R,+RW/ DVD-R,-RW drive. First attempt using Nero Burn 6. Second using Roxio 7. Third with DVDsanta. None worked.

The Second Computer running a Wopping TDK DVDRW0404N
on and AMD Attalon. Using Nero Burn 6, Clone DVD2, DVD Santa and Roxio. None of them could right to the disks. We tried changing setting in Windows XP pro. To see if any thing would happen. Still no changes in the drives for writing to the disks. So we tried another brand of disks and then thay both started to write again.

We had even set the drives to write at a lesser speed. Without any changes in the problem.

Media is white colored on top with a clear plastic label applied to each piece of media. The white coloration goes to the center of the disk, whereas the plastic label is standard disk-label sized. Recordable area is purple.
