Don't know when this was added but this 0.8.4 version has an export wizard which actually makes it much easier to convert "this" to "that". Earlier versions of VLC had this capability but it was hidden behind obtuse dialogs with the prefs; this change, alone, ratchets up the "ease of use" from a 6 to a 10. This is a welcome change and makes this already excellent player an even more useful tool. |
