Software: MKV Muxing Batch GUI
User review: Fantastic. Simply fantastic. A minimal program that actually does what it says with no overhead and no cruft, following the UNIX design philosophy to the letter (except they'd probably argue for CLI apps, whereas I think GUI apps are more efficient when well designed).

There's no unnecessary overhead of Electron or CEF or QtWeb etc. This is one of about four portable programs I've launched this year that hasn't created the usual BS %APPDATA% folders, thanks to its use of real native tech. A real native GUI not only deserves a 10/10, it deserves a donation (though unfortunately I'm totally tapped out right now).

I did get a GUI freeze at 39% through a 500GB workload, but the process finished in the background, merging 100 files with their audio tracks. From tests thus far, sync is almost perfect out of the box, despite the AAC (MP4) files having no metadata and seemingly being unfinalised. It's as good as I'm going to get with audio and video at different "framerates" and with nothing but raw data in the files.

One request I'd make: add .mp4 to the format list for audio. It's a perfectly valid audio container and extension. Most HLS/DASH manifests specify .mp4 for audio. And that's going to be a significant chunk of users. If I could get into my Github account, I'd PR the change myself but here we are.

Thanks a lot!
