I have had about a 66% success rate burning on Pioneer A04 @ 1X. Seems to lock up at about 90% of the burn after verifying the "successful burn" using Nero 6.3., on XP Pro., 1.6 celeron, 512 DDR. Upgraded to Pioneer AO7, same system, make sure your not on PIO mode for you burner! My mistake. Now AO7 recognizes discs @ 2X and burns much faster and seems not to have the lock up problems. Checked discs on Apex 1500, pioneer and Koss DVD players. Good quality and no freezing near end of discs.

Burned ~4.5 GB movie on several disks. Would not read back in burner, but played back in three set top players but started to artifact and/or ultimately fail near the end (outer edge of disk). Burned OK, though. Also tried to verify data backup on a disk and it failed verification at arounf 90%. Thought is was drive but tried several others (Memorex, etc) without issue. Also, package said 1x but Nero would only burn at 2x because that was the mode listed on the disk ID.

Excellent price, Works great with my Toshiba Laptop DVD-Burner. Did not have any coasters at all. With my desktop Lite-on DVD drive, coasters are everywhere. Disks freeze in the dvd players. Only Apex players would play them with some reliability.

(these are from the completely wrapped [no hole] 10 packs)

work pretty well, only problem is with a x2 burn my Pioneer has no problem verifying, but verifying in a older rpc1 Toshiba DVD-ROM failed on the outer gb of data. Playback of a x2 disc on player was fine though.

The multi-disc packs from CompUSA only have the media inserts on the first (front) disc. Not a big deal to me, but a little cheesy, none-the-less.

Bought pack of two DVD-R ($1.99) to test on my Optorite DD0201 Writer,Firmware 1.0. Burned smoothly with no problem and played back on my APEX 1100W just like my TDK DVD+R with no trouble. Only thing which I noticed is that even compUSA says the speed to be 1X but Nero 6.0 burned the whole thing at 2X speed(Nero automatically picked it)...not bad.

At first I thought they were decent quality, but later realized that almost half of the 10-pack were bad burns and visible with naked eyes. After exchanging for another 10-pack, got 2 more bad discs and finally exchanged for Princo made discs, and they were OK at least for now. I won't touch these Optodisc made discs again and CompUSA seemed to switch to Princo anyway.
