Got 100 of these from Meritline. Burned very well in my burners(LDW-440D, BenQ DW400A and NEC-1300A). Not one bad disc in the lot. The were identified by dvd in the lot. The only thing I did not like was that they would only burn at 2.4x in the NEC, but the burns were very good. Used in Zenith DVB312, Polaroid DVC200, Sony DVP-NC665 and PS2.

I have not found a better and cheap media. Got 50 on meritline.com just to try and after I did, I loved. No even one coaster. I have tried with dvdxcopy, and dvdshrink. excelent media for the price, also works fine on my psII. The surface is great for writing on it.

Burns great on my 8x CyberDrive. Burns at 8x by default even, donno whats with that but it seems to be okay so i'm not complaining. Got it from meritline.com with cases for like a buck each (for 1 case/1 disc) White top makes them easy to label. DVD+R doesn't play in my dvd-player, but it the discs work fine in my lite-on dvd-rom as well as my burner.

Tried with Nero 6.3.0.0 and Alcohol 120% 1.4.7 (build 1005) at 8x with no problems with 1.02 firmware. If firmware is at any higher revision than 1.02 on the plextor drive and the maximum recording speed is dropped down to 4x.

Would only burn at 2.4x in my NEC 1300a firmware 1.8. Burns fine at that speed and plays great in my X Wave DVD player I got from a 6 mnth trial with Earthlink. I called Meritline and griped at them and since they had no compadibility info on their site for this media they gave me a $5 credit to my CC. Would I buy it again no because I have been getting Verbatum and Memorex 4x from local retailers for $1/disc after rebates and such. There is better media out there also.

this media is only 2.4X rated!!! check with dvd info.. no write descriptor for 4X .. some drives that do not use rated speed from media can burn at 4X .... most burners will only burn at 2.4x ...meritline won't do anything about it either
