Some burn but take forever! always at 2.9X
But most fail during the 'lead-in' burn and are then coasters.
I thought my drive was faulty because I was sure the last 50 I had were the same make, but turned out to be Maxell which were terrific.
Went & bought small pack of Tesco own brand, & they worked like a dream burning at 8X.
These TDK fail regardless of the selected burn speed.
Some even fail on insertion with Nero saying 'Please insert Blank DVD when there is one in already. When one decides to burn OK, a DVD takes around 30 mins. to burn & verify. also, sometimes the playback on successful burns is jumpy. Hopeless!
