Have the tray open and key 2168 on the remote to get the region code displayed on the TV. Then key 9 and press ENTER and the region code will change, keep pressing ENTER until you see the region you want.

This works for the Australian TEAC DV-2150. I don't know if the code works for other players from different countries. 1. Open the tray 2. Press "2168" on the remote 3. The word "Region 4" should appear on Australian players. 4. Press the ENTER button until it reads "Region 9" form multi-zone. 5. Power OFF.

I have tried the region code hacks on an Australian Teac DV 2150 and they work fine. WOuld like to know if anyone has a Macrovision hack though. I have to play my DVD through a video and it leave slight, but anoying, lines.

I just did this to a friend's Teac DV-2150 and it worked fine. I'd suggest in SETUP you put video onto AUTO or else NTSC movies look slightly dodgy when played back. Not all TVs can handle PAL-60. You end up with a washed-out picture with lines through it.
