Note: it can be done without using a TV, but it's easier to see what you're doing if a TV is connected. -Unit in stand-by. -No disc in tray. Press and hold the following buttons simultaneously on the front panel of the C717: “Source”, “Tuner mode” and “Power”. Hold all 3 buttons pressed until the unit turns on and the display indicates “Service mode”. Now, on the remote control, press “0” and then “Prog”. Set unit in Stand-by - it is now region free (region 0). | |||
