I have used this hack to free the DL-840PD dvd player, which is basically this with a 8.4 inch screen. 1. Turn on the DVD player without any disk in the tray. 2. Wait until the screen reads "No Disc." 3. Press Setup on the remote 4. Press the right button until you reach the preferences screen. (Note, you will not see the preferences screen if there is a disc in the drive.) 5. Enter in 1-3-6-9 6. Press the up and down button on the remote to select the region you want. Select 0 for regionless playing. | |||
