Don't understand why there aren't any more comments than this, but my take on AVI2VCD is that it's an awesome little tool that has saved me many headaches in avi to mpg conversion needs. A very stable, simple, easy to use program. I highly recommend it.

Feeding in an AVS file that contains nothing but a merge of a couple of files. Converting to a PAL VCD. When converting to PAL, a ten pixel wide stagnant stripe appears on the right edge of the image. When played, the image is shown as 16:9. The compression quality isn't that super, I see more artifacts than with some other common tools.

Brilliant, simple piece of software. The Audio decompressor included is a must if encoding some avis. Excellent piece of kit.
