Sefy's Complete DVD Backup Guide v2.6
The Original Official Guide by Sefy Levy
Classical Guide Interfaces for:
TMPGEnc / DVDx / VirtualDub+LSX / AVI to VCD / DVD2SVCD / ImTOO DVD Ripper / EasyDivX

Introduction!

New in this release of the guide, the long expected DVD to DVDR media Full Backup. Using Freeware Tools and Shareware. You also have multiple Input Selections option, meaning, AVI/QuickTime/RM as sources and not just DVD movies, check the "What's New" page. When you use the guide, remember it is just an example, and so I won't need to take multiple captures of essentially the same image (e.g.: D2V/AVI or WAV/MP3 inputs) just make the correct changes with your sources.

At the end of each Step, you will have links to the next Step(s) and only the images for that section will be loaded. If you want a "A to Z" type of guide, you can check the guides at the top which use the Classical Guide interface (all programs / images on one page), however, it takes much longer for those to load, and they are essentially the same images/text from this Complete Guide.

If you are able, please help to keep this guide up and running by donating any amount you see fit. Visit the donation page for more information on the Guide: Make A Donation, and each donation will be split equally each time with one of the authors which will support the guide (fair is fair!). I Only wrote the text, So the Special Thanks goes to the Authors who wrote the programs themselfs! and if you are curious at where to buy, donate or which version is used, just see the Programs Used page. Want this guide as a Standalone ?

Programs used in this guide (you do NOT require all of them, just those you are planning on using from each step!)

Pre-Start!

Before we start with the guide, please make sure the tools you are going to use actually work correctly! and then we are ready to begin! For this example i've used "Superman - The Movie Special Edition" (NTSC/154min/DD51@384k) and we will be converting it to a Video-CD NTSC Standard so it  will fit on two 80 min CDR media. (or 74 min with Overburning, which is only if your CDRW drive and media supports it!), do remember that 740mb file size will fit into a 74 min CDR and 800mb File size will fit into a 80 min CDR.

(* NOTICE: Using a Video-CD Standard -> 1 min = 10mb! *).

Lastly, this is to all Newbie's using the guide, use it as an EXAMPLE, don't set everything EXACTLY the same on your movie, make the changes that are needed, follow the guide, don't worship it, it's only to be used as an Example, so it will be easier for you to Learn. If your movie is PAL then make sure you set everything to PAL and not NTSC as in the guide itself!

Onward to the guide!
