Easy and free. Has one of the best interfaces around. Now that's the good part. Quality and options are still the issues with this transcoder. The quality is still not as good as the low-cost consumer options like DVD2one, and it still has bugs and likes to crash from time to time, unlike the other ones. It is also slow. If you insist on freeware, this is great. But if you have some money to spend, and tend to backup LOTS of discs, I'd stick with DVD2one for now, as it gives better output and is much faster. Hopefully future versions of DVDshrink will make it the best one, but for now, that's just not true. |
