I've been using TMPGEnc DVD Author since v1.6 and absolutely couldn't be without the tool.It's easy to make nice looking menus,it's stable,fast and gives 100 percent compliant DVD Files.
There is no quality loss during authoring and if your mpg files are too big to fit onto a single layer DVD then you have the option to transcode (I use DVDShrink for this though).I personally prefer v2 and cant see the big deal with having to use the old,outdated version as the newer gives you more powerful features.
I will cetainly be sticking with this tool as it is the easiest and most reliable DVD authoring app I've come across.
The only thing I dont like is the internet activation and constant upgrade fees,but I suppose this tool is worth the money and minor inconveniences. |
