I am just a beginner and my first time using this tool. It is better than AVI2DVD so far, that is, it is stable and the resulting DVD file is about 4Gig where as AVI2DVD would sometimes spit out 2.5g files, however the bitrate calculation could be more precise for optimal file size (used CCE 4 pass). The problem with AVI2DVD seems to happen after multiplexing of the AC3 since the .m2v was over 4G.
I encountered a problem yesterday, the program got stuck during multiplexing (encoded with CCE) and there was no further progress 3 hours later, so I close it. Did the mutiplexing seperately with IfoEdit (though by default IfoEdit would ask .m2v file), tested with WMP classic and it seems to work. I'll do an ISO tonight and do a final test on my DVD player. |
