Still the king of transcoders in my book. I usually use Shrink, AnyDVD, and CloneDVD**. CloneDVD rips and removes unwanted extras and warning screens that are not menu based (but it doesn't have a decrypter thus the need for AnyDVD). Then I use Shrink to block out any warning screens in the menus and to transcode. Of course this doesn't match an encoder for quality, but it is barely noticable unless you dropping into the low 50%'s, which I never do with this method.
** Sometimes Decrypter or FabDecrypter or Shrink have to be used for certain titles, and sometimes only one of those three works to decrypt a certain title. |
