Good idea, but right now, needs to develop further. Things I'd like to see in the future:
1) Faster encoding - Currently it takes a very long time to make a ratDVD (but it is understandable).
2) File size preview - It'd be nice if you could know what the file size is going to be.
3) Automatic shutdown - Because the compression process takes so long, an automatic shutdown would be nice so that you don't have to worry about keeping your computer on longer than necessary.
4) Simplified GUI - I don't want to manually adjust my settings. I'd much rather have a simple slider where it has 3 preset options: Smallest Size, Medium, and Highest Quality. I don't want to have to slide the bar around to decide whether 125 is going to be better than 110. |
