Overall I prefer this to all the other authoring programs I tried. It's relatively simple and just takes a couple hours to learn most of the options it has.
I'd hate to see anyone pass this program up because of complaints by someone who didn't take the time to even look for options. It's very easy to select the option to show the TV safe zone- and the same menu will also let you show show grid lines and automatically adjust text and buttons to the grid.
It's also very simple to drag a button or menu item anywhere you want to move it.
And it's also simple to set chapter points at a preset time (you can select the time- from 1 to 60 minutes).
It's very fast. It was the only authoring program that never gave me audio-sync problems. (Recently I've used PowerProducer Gold for some things and there's never sync problems with it- that's why I was TMPG "was" the only one instead of "is" the only one.
