To get this to now work in XP you must disable disable DXVA2 in the display option in preferences. Choose OpenGL instead in the display box and 'Don't' tick the below GUI option OpenGL. Leave it alone or the program won't open. Do all these things and runtime errors disappear.
This will most likely be the last working version of Legacy XP. The xPenpack portable works really well. Also in 2.7.6 the shutdown feature after encoding has thankfully been restored. |
