My favorite burning software for quite some time; comparing it to the old dinosaur that has become Nero, makes you wonder why people are throwing their money on such a resource eating software. For every day use, I don't think you should look any further: it burns your ISO files (or saves files as ISO), mp3 discs, audio CDs, DVD discs, Blu-rays/AVCHD, bootable ISO, all with an easy to use and intuitive interface. And even better - it's free.
Could it get better? I suppose so, my only improvement wish would be a x64 version.
At the time of my review, the VideoHelp admins, haven't noticed (and advertised) that from version 9.2, BurnAware is offering to install Safe Finder (which will change your home page, new tab and search engine), but this can be declined by choosing from Basic to Advanced install, and unselecting the option. It's the usual adware software (already got used to it), but this doesn't diminish BurnAware's quality. |
