I had donated years ago to clonead for avi.net, which created avis from mpeg video, and this was a great upgrade. Easiest and fastest program to configure and use to convert large video to smaller size, burn in subtitles, convert audio, and create mkv or mp4 from iso or dvd folders, and more. Still using it in 2016, so grab it if you can find it as the clonead website seems to be gone, which also had pretty comprehensive guides, but experimenting is key to get the results you want quickly and easily.

I am using this to convert DVD to mp4 for use on my Motorola XOOM, have converted from VIDEO_TS folders and from ISO's created by DVD Shrink, absolutely no problems, video quality very good and audio in synch, only gripe is time taken to process, program doesn't appear to exploit the potential of multi-core processors. Overall, easy to use, relatively quick and well worth the price.
