I purchased 300 of these because of the seemingly glowing reviews of other users shown on the Supermediastore.com site. Much to my dismay, I have 60 coasters out of the 85 that I have burned so far. These are one of the worst DVD+Rs that I have ever used! If you are able to write to them successfully, them you probably will not be able to read them back, even on the same machine. These are the genuine Taiyo Yuden DVD+Rs from Japan. Totally unreliable and basically unusable in 5 of the DVD burners that I tried.

I used three Liteon LVW-5005A DVD recorders, an LG-4040B, and an Optorite DD0203 burners. Two of the Liteon LVW-5005s could not recognize them as discs and one Liteon LVW-5005 could write and read them about 50% of the time.
Works fine on Lite-On LVW-5005
Does not work on LG 4020N

In my search for generic media that works, I tried this sample pack from Factory Direct rather than buy a couple of spindles at a bargain price. It seemed to work well (I checked both disks for errors, and found none), but after a while, it just didn't work right in my DVD-ROM drive (an LG), although it seemed to work right in the drive that burned it. However, the scans were ugly. I doubt that this is genuine TY, but it wasn't sold as such so I can't complain too much. These run about 30 cents each at retail, but I can find Sony at 50 cents each at Wal-Mart and they work better. I won't be buying more.

Having mixed burn results. All the discs that complete the burn work flawlessly. The ones that don't, burn about 90% then fail. DeepBurn says "tracking servo faliure". Alcohol 120% just fails. I don't know if this is media or hardware or some incompatability. Let me know if you know the answer.
Works fine on Pioneer DV-525
Works fine on Yamaha DVD C740
