Here are the steps to make this DVD recorder region code free: 1. power on the player 2. push menu button 3. scroll to the "lock" button so that it is highlighted; do not go into the submenus on the right side 4. now press on the remote control 0000000 (7 times 0 in succession) 5. a menu will be displayed stating the current region setting and giving you the option to set a new region code 6. push 0 if you want to play all regions 7. confirm by pushing on the pause button on the remote 8. power off the player | |||
