I really liked this program; you can use profiles to get good results and you don't need to be an expert. I've been a divx/avi person forever and finally switched to x264 and I've got to say I'm impressed. Documentation isn't really good, howto's you can find are out of date with the version and in program links to support (forums) seem to be out of date too. The only reason I didn't rate it 10 was audio sync problems. Most DVD rips worked fine but it seems anything from overseas didn't. Even rips of things from England like Tomorrow People were way out of sync, I just ripped the ORIGINAL godzilla (GOJIRA) dvd and it was out of sync. Even old Doctor Who DVD's are out of sync. That's the only reason I didn't score it a 10 all around. |
