Been using this for over a year now and it produces unfailingly excellent results. Install Klite Full last and select as many codec boxes it will allow and you are good to go. Handles mkv, avi/xvid even vob no problem. Both HC and QU free encoders produces outstanding results in 2-pass HQ mode although my preference is HC as it has the preview window. I do wish it [ or the enoders] could utilize more of the i7's cores like Handbrake and TMPGEnc does. I've tried StaxRip and FAVC and found TFM consistently better IMO.
Not sure if this is possible but would be nice to see x264 encoder included since I've read it produces even better quallity at lower bitrates. I think unsuccesfull install prevents this great tool from being more popular so if something could be done here to simplify would help. |
