If you don't like the short titles that ONES creates, you can get it to use more informative short titles by using the Windows SPTI.dll instead of the built-in write module. Click on Tools-->Options, and in the "Options" dialogue, check the box for "Force SPTI instead of PzWDM.sys." Then, close ONEs, re-launch it, and ONES will write compilation files to the CD/DVD with short titles that use the first eight characters of the long titles.
Not perfect -- if the long titles are identical for the first eight characters, as so many are, a player like the Philips DVP642 will show a list of identical titles distinguished only by their relative positions in the directory -- but you might prefer it to the "initial letter plus serial number" native format. |
