This is the missing link between high quality encoding and all the intermediate steps necessary to rebuild the DVD once all the encoding, audio/subtitle ripping, IFO updating, etc.
I never really paid attention to this little proggy until 0.64; I was using the whole DVD Maestro or Scenarist method then. Man I wish I had started sooner. Made my donation to get the benefits of the Pro version which include multi-pass with RB-Opt since 0.78. JDobbs is asking very little for this awesome program which does way more than any commercial package out there. Sure there are transacoders but they cannot compare to CCE. Even better is the fact that it gives you the option to use freeware encoders but with CCE Basic at only $58 I'd rather shell out the dough to get results that are almost indistinguishable from the original. In any case it's still cheaper and better that the other stuff out there.
The way cool thing about this is that the author listens to reports about bugs/crashes/problems and actually fixes or improves them and alot of the new features are very useful instead of leaving you wondering "What the hell is this for?" Support this program, donate all you can, sell your house if you must! |
