DVD Shrink would be the best around if it could include Macros. And by this I mean, suppose you needed to edit several different discs which were stored on your hard drive. Currently, DVD Shrink only processes one request at a time. So, for example, if I wanted to process DVD 1, I would have to wait until it was done, to proceed to DVD2.
However, with a "MULTIPLE DISC" or "MULTIPLE PROCESS" function, I could program DVD Shrink to process DVD1, DVD2, DVD3, and just let it do its thing. I wouldn't have to be at the computer on the hour--I could be away from my PC for several hours, and then just come back when it was all done.
A sample of how this could be done would be:
From the DVD Shrink Main Menu options, ADD:
--> Multiple Processes
:
--> Select how many processes to run concurrently
(this could be a drop-down menu or you just enter in the number of how many processes you want to do)
Suppose I select 3 processes...
--> Click here to setup process #1
(you would then do your normal DVD Shrink stuff, BUT, the only difference is that it would not begin)
--> Click OK to confirm
--> Click here to setup process #2
--> Click OK to confirm
--> Click here to setup process #3
--> Click OK to confirm
--> Are you sure you want to process all 3 concurrently?
--> Click OK to confirm, or EDIT to edit the other 3 in case you forgot something and so all 3 won't have to be started all over again, or EXIT to exit the Multiple option completely
I think this would be an awesome feature, as many of us process many discs, and would come in very handy for situations such as multiple disc collections such as a television series, or even just processing multiple movies at a time without having to be constantly at the computer. |
