Pleased to know that it also works on Win10! Shame it only works on 2 channel sources etc. That said a lifesaver for any abysmally encoded track which has erratic vocal levels. I nearly resigned myself to accepting those awful 5.1 tracks-you know constant riding the remote up for vocals and then back down when music/explosion kicks in the next scene-loads of moderns film like this!!!
But by accepting a slight quality hit converting the track to 2.0 wav for input and converting to it wav again all 'corrected' with final process of encoding to one's preferred format e.g Lc-aac etc has been a blessing. High dynamic sources will certainly be levelled out 'killed' off quite a bit during this process, but your ears/remote surfing🤣 will appreciate things much better. I always lower the end audio file decibel level using aacGain as it comes out often around 92db which is still very loud! Audiophiles will most likely hate this tool! |
