Fantastic software. A tip before using it on those slightly grainy or dirty DVD's is to use DVD Rebuilder free or pro and input an avisyth script which will work in both progressive of interlaced e.g
UnDot().FluxSmoothT(temporal_threshold=7, luma=true, chroma=true)
Export at 100% no compression. Voila cleaned up a little. Then run MakeMKV on your hard drive dvd folder(but doesn't work in XP! for some reason?) or disc if you've burned it. You can of course compress using the equally fabulous DVD Rebuilder e.g dual layered DVD's, strip the menus, audio choices etc and get it to 4.35b approx size, the use MakeMKV on it again. UnDot is mild and equivalent to RemoveGrain(mode1) and FluxSmoothT is non destructive at default. |
