Be sure to download latest nightly (build 5318 and newer) and if you encounter any issue regardless what it is, report it on doom9 thread. The devs will fix it in some hours!! Try it.
Here is the thread: https://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?t=165890
You can download nightlies of MPC-BE and also nightlies from MPC Video Renderer! Yes, the devs also created a project of a dedicated Video Renderer.
Please look up commit browser of MPC-BE and MPC VR, how active the devs are.

Potplayer is crap! I tried it several times, last time is only 3 weeks ago, before I did a fresh installation of Windows 10 2004 on 2020-05-27. Because on the new installation potplayer is devitely not on my PC! I wanted to try it and it is still crap.
I also tried to report some problems over some years but I got ignored in Potplayer forum, not from MPC-BE devs. These are truely the best. And MPC-BE is Open Source, Potplayer not, which stole code from other Projects. It is also on Hall of Shame of FFMPEG.
Do not downrate a player when you do not know anything about it. There is a froum here and many will help you here including me.
In commit 5318 there was a youtube update and the link you provided plays perfectly for me in build 5330. So please stop down rating MPC-BE if you do not know better, ask instead, if you like also per PM, I will assist you. |
