Excellent codec. Very fast. Use the "Fox Home Entertainment" custom matrix and CQ=3 and you won't need to worry about the quality. The only way to achieve comparable quality with x264 is to encode in 10-bit, which makes the size a lot smaller but Smart TV's with weak CPU's choke on the latter. |
